“Eat Bulaga” host Miles Ocampo shared that she was not offended by Joey de Leon’s “pataba” remarks during last month’s live airing. Fans had criticized de Leon for his comments.

At a press conference for her upcoming daytime series “Padyak Princess,” Ocampo explained that she is accustomed to the playful banter among the “Dabarkads” hosts. “In Dabarkads, you can’t be sensitive. We’re used to each other’s jokes, so there’s no problem,” she said.

Ocampo confirmed that de Leon had apologized to her. “Boss Joey was affected, wondering why people were upset with him. I told him it’s okay, people today quickly find faults, but there’s no issue,” she added.

Ocampo will star in “Padyak Princess,” premiering on TV5 on June 10. The series features her as Princess, a young woman striving to revive her family’s reputation and support her family. The show promises a heartwarming and inspiring story with an ensemble cast including Ara Mina, Ces Quesada, and Christian Vasquez.
