The 2024 Kultivation Festival has wrapped up another unforgettable year, further cementing its place as one of the coolest Filipino festivals in North America. For a whirlwind week, the festival hosted 33 unique activations, showcasing creative people, special places, and an incredible sense of community. Held across Winnipeg and La Broquerie, the festival activated multiple locations, including Platform Gallery, Charlees Restaurant and Lounge, The Forks Market, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, Prairie Theatre Exchange, and Graffiti Gallery.
A huge Salamat to all involved—from organizers and sponsors to volunteers, performers, and the businesses that supported the event. Kultivation Festival 2024 was a true grassroots effort, made possible by a united community with almost zero funding. Despite these challenges, the festival’s diverse activities and celebrations of Filipino culture brought the community together in a truly memorable way.
The countdown is already on for next year’s event, scheduled for August 25-31, 2025, and promises to be even more exciting!
