Filipina- Canadian Erika Casupanan from Niagara Falls, Ontario won as the sole survivor of the hit reality show, Survivor. She is just one of the 15 female winners since the reality show premiered in 2000.
In a TV interview, Erika shared her lamb to lion strategy.
“I really came in deciding to be that lion dressed as a lamb. I wanted to fly under the radar, let people underestimate me, figure out who’s in power, take that power at the right time and I really believe that I did that.”
Fans and supporters were happy to see a fresh face emerged as the winner. And for those joining in the next season, the 32-year old Casupanan, has one advice.
“The biggest thing is to know who you are and that includes what you’re good at , what you’re not so good at, take that all in, own it and use that to your own advantage.”
