Growing up, Tanuja’s parents taught her to get a degree, get a job, and get married in that order. Now that she has everything her parents wanted, her mother insists for Tanuja to find herself. What else does she need? She has everything: a loving husband, two children, and a high-paying job. She’s a

successful, powerful career woman. What more could she ask for?

Veenesh Dubois wrote and starred in this one-woman play, Bulls Heart. She was amazing. It was easy to distinguish the characters because of her delivery. Her performance was gripping—the audience was absorbed into her story. There was never a dull moment.

I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire show. I wanted to know more about Tanuja—her past, her family, her struggles, her identity, and her transformation. I shed a tear, and I wasn’t the only one.

Bulls Heart is a riveting and emotional show. You will be engrossed for 60 minutes and will leave you something to think about at the end.
