Also, Filipino Journal is taking this opportunity to commend Marilyn Esteban’s admirable community work in the Philippines. A school nurse, Marilyn works at Ramon Magsaysay National High School, in Isabela, Philippines, where she engages in feeding programs for the poor and for below-Body Mass Index students. She is a mother of two—Arlyn Keith Alethea Esteban, who herself is one of youngest municipal councilors in the Philippines; and Arbil Rico Esteban, a studious Grade 12 student who aspires to follow in the footsteps of his mother and his sister.
