QPAM Christmas slambang erupts with joy in giving and sharing

Last November 28, while the weather outdoors was warm and nice, it was steaming hot inside Raffy’s Cafe as singing and dancing ruled over the annual Christmas Party of the Quezon Province Association of Manitoba (QPAM), members seeing each other face-to-face in an event after almost two years.

Led by their hardworking president, Maggie Chan Urbano, members were asked to come in their “ugly” Christmas sweater.

It was a night of “free-for-all.” Even the ” D Sintonads” had a blast on stage, singing and dancing, no matter what the tempo was. Everyone mobbed the dance floor as soon as Orlie Merluza showered the group with 25 cent-coins, scattering on the floor where busy feet were rocking with the music.

Every performer received some ” surprizes.” There was also a gift exchange shared by those who participated in the circle of giving and sharing.

The brunch Christmas party was held at Raffy’s Cafe owned by Raffy Salvatus Ramiro, another Quezonian from Lucena City. Alden Novallasca, one of QPAM’s board of directors, emceed the most fun-filled annual Christmas party .

It was a five-star fun up to the last minute of the event.
