Pacquiao mulls retirement next year

Manny Pacquiao said his upcoming bout with undefeated American boxer Timothy Bradley Jr. on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas might be his last fight as he is pondering retiring next year.

The eight-division world champion said he realized the negative implications of his profession through the Word of God, as he recently accepted Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines’ offer to become their Bible Ambassador.

Pacquiao also disclosed that he has renewed his faith and has turned his back on vices, including womanizing, gambling and drinking.
He added that when one reads the Bible, a relation to God is built that improves one’s faith.

Manny’s wife Jinkee acknowledged the positive changes that her husband has undergone.
