The 2019 Manitoba Filipino Street Festival kicks off this year with a parade on June 8th at the Maples Multiplex Grounds to mark the city’s 8th annual festival.
The following day June 9th features the pageant events in the Maples Community Centre culminating with the coronation of the Queen Bulilit 2019! The 15 candidates were presented last May 5, 2019, 3PM, at Eastern Chrysler, 1900 Main Street where the Bulilits got to showcase their talents. The official contestants for this year’s Queen Bulilit are Glecy Mae La Madrid Dimagmaliw, Jazmine-Pearl Tibay Mendoza, Chiara Maye Asumbrado, Alleena Selene Manaois, Aniya Makayla Cruz Caparino, Kiarra Cleo Amante-Ferrer, Princess Amor Gawat, Lori Miel Manuel Batac, Sofia Talibsao, Aiyana Francheska Du, Katie Ashleigh Amor Gawat, Jealiana Jermaine Aragon Ramos.
