GMA News & Public Affairs Vice President for News Jessica Soho added another feather to her cap when she was recently recognized as the Most Outstanding Filipino Documentarian of All Time.
Soho was cited during the 8th International Center for Communication Studies (ICCS) Manila Convention on Media Communication held recently at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater at the Ateneo de Manila University.
A graduate of the University of the Philippines, Soho is also host of the top-rating “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” aside from being the anchor of GMA News TV’s flagship newscast “State of the Nation with Jessica Soho” and the public affairs program “Brigada.”
In a journalistic career with GMA network spanning 27 years, Soho has received many international recognitions that include the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award, the New York Film and Television Festival Award, and the Asian Television Award for Best News and Current Affairs Special.
The ICCS Manila convention honored documentary journalists whose works have received accolades from the most respected international award-giving bodies.
