A hardware store, located along T. Padilla Extension, Barangay Tejero in Cebu City, caught fire shortly after midnight last June 02.
According to Fire Officer 3 (FO3) Emerson Arceo of the Cebu City Fire Department, the damages incurred reached up to P8 million worth of properties.
Reportedly injured during the said incident was a certain June Jaime Abadinas.
The incident happened while Cebu City and the rest of central and northern Cebu were under signal number 1 brought about by typhoon Dante.
Currently, investigations are still ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.
