Winnipeg Jets were treated to a full house of fans at the first home game of the 2021-22 season after playing to empty areas during the COVID19 pandemic.
The home opener, at the newly re-named Canada Life Centre marks the first time in 591 days Jets fans were able to watch a live game with a sold out crowd of 15,000 fans.
After kicking off the season on a 3-game road trip, the Jets played the Anaheim Ducks in the home opener by a score of 5-1.
Through the first month of play, the Winnipeg Jets are 2nd in the Western Division with 9 games played and 12 points with a 5-2-2 record. The five wins come from Anaheim x2, Nashville, Los Angeles and most recently an Overtime-Shootout win against the Dallas Stars.
