Cash: Ring of Fire
Dates- June 23- July 15, 2016
Created by Richard Maltby, Jr.
Conceived by William Meade
Orchestrated by Steven Bishop and Jeff Lisenby
The Man in Black is making his way to Rainbow Stage! Ring of Fire is a raucous celebration of the music, spirit and life of legendary singer-songwriter Johnny Cash. Our cast of eight wonderfully versatile actor/musicians will each “walk the line”, taking turns portraying Cash and bringing his music back to life. Ring of Fire offers a rare glimpse at the life and times of the man you thought you knew and provides fascinating insight into the man, the myth, the legend. Described by the New York Times as a show that “follows a sort of ages-of-man path from green country-boy idealism into the sloughs of a hard-living musician’s disillusionment and on up to the mountains of spiritual redemption…” Ring of Fire is sure to move and entertain you!
Shrek, the Musical

There’s an ogre in Kildonan Park! In a fairy tale that’s anything but ordinary, this Tony-winning musical takes us to a land far, far away where a grumpy ogre sets out to rescue a feisty princess with more than a few unlikely sidekicks. A chatty Donkey, a little prince with big problems, a fed-up Pinocchio and a confident cookie are just a few of the characters we’ll meet along the way. Unexpected and hilarious fun for everyone, SHREK reminds us that everybody is unique and that’s what makes us irreplaceable.
