Manitoba Filipino Business Council announces finalists for annual awards gala
October 30, 2015 (WINNIPEG, MB) – Today, Manitoba Filipino Business Council (MFBC) is announcing the finalists for its 4th Annual Awards Gala taking place on Nov. 6 at Delta Winnipeg. The organization’s marquee event invites local leaders to celebrate the success of business-minded professionals in Manitoba.
“We’re thrilled to host our most highly-anticipated gala yet,” says MFBC President Hipolito Alibin Jr. “MFBC is proud to represent a rapidly growing cultural demographic accounting for over 70,000 people in our province. Manitoba’s bright and vibrant Filipino community has a bold entrepreneurial spirit, and our gala celebrates the unwavering work ethic of some talented and deserving individuals.”

The category winners will be announced during the event on Nov. 6.
This year marks the council’s five-year anniversary. Additionally, all funds raised from the gala will assist MFBC’s transition into an official Chamber of Commerce. The status change would allow the organization to further assist aspiring Filipino-Canadians and community members to pursue their business and entrepreneurial aspirations.
