Actress-singer Sharon Cuneta announced on her Twitter account on Friday last week that she has left TV5.
The Megastar did not finish her five-year contract with the network as her departure is two years short of the five-year contract she signed in 2011. Earlier, Sharon posted an emotional message in Facebook regarding the developments in her career because of what she called a mid-life crisis. She said she hated the way she looked and the time wasted by not focusing and working on bettering her own person.
Speculations had it that Sharon either might go back to ABS-CBN, her home network of 24 years, strike a deal with GMA 7, or go into production.
Meanwhile, TV5 thanked Sharon for being part of the network for nearly three years.
