Inaugural Fil-Can Intercity Golf Association Tournament set for July 28, 29 and 30 in Calgary

A hobby that turned into a passion – and now a cross-Canada venture. Manny Aranez, better known as the Commissioner of the Philippine Basketball Association and avid golfer, has come up with the idea of holding an intercity golf tournament in Canada.

Along with other Filipino golf enthusiasts, the new sports organization Fil-Can Intercity Golf Association is now a reality. After seven months of brainstorming with fellow Filipino golf community leaders across Canada, the tournament will feature Filipino golfers from BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba:

Tournament Dates: July 28 ,29 and 30th

The first Fil-Can Intercity Golf Tournament will be held in the 28th of July at Heritage Pointe Golf. D’Arcy Ranch will be the main venue by the 29th and the Championship will be held at Glen Eagles Diner with the awarding still waiting to be announced.
