By Manitoba Start
November is Manitoba Career and Workforce Development Month. To recognize this, Manitoba Start will hold a series of professional events to provide career information on specific industries, including health care, engineering, manufacturing, education, accounting, and more! Each event is an opportunity to learn about career options and to meet employers, regulators, and successful newcomers from various professional backgrounds.
Manitoba Start’s Career and Workforce Development Month events will run from October 28–December 3, 2015. Each event will feature three sessions:
1. Industry Insights: A moderated question and answer period to gain industry-specific information from business leaders.
2. Informational Interviews: An opportunity to interview business leaders about their workplace and career experience.
3. Share Success: Manitoba Start alumni share their career development journey, followed by networking.
Event registration is open! Join our Career and Workforce Development Month events to grow your professional network and learn about industry trends, career pathways, and what employers look for in new hires.
