Early Friday morning February 04, 2022, Actor Diether Ocampo was rushed to a hospital after sustaining injuries following a vehicular accident along Osmeña Highway. A Teleradyo report said Ocampo was riding his SUV along Osmeña Highway in Makati City before 1 a.m when it crashed into a garbage truck along the southbound lane of the service road.
When the accident happened the garbage truck was temporarily stalled along the side of the highway as collectors gathered trash and were on “hazard”. Maybe he did not notice. The Philippine Red Cross immediately responded to the scene and brought Ocampo to the hospital. It seemed like he was resisting, he did not want to be brought to the hospital. He is positive, under the influence of alcohol.
