The annual lights display of Canad Inns Winter Wonderland was turned on Friday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. at Red River Exhibition Park. The lights will be on and the Park open every night from 6 to 10 p.m. except on Christmas Day.
The display features over one million lights with the additional attraction of 26 different themed areas which can be accessed during a 2.5 km drive in the comfort of your car. Admission is by vehicle pass purchased in advance for just $15 (plus GST) per family vehicle of up to seven passengers. Ticket outlets include any Canad Inns Winnipeg location, Red River Co-op Grocery Store and Gas Bar or Circle K (formerly Mac’s) convenience store. At the gate, vehicle tickets are $20 (GST included) for each family vehicle.
Winnipeg families can take pictures at the outdoor skating rink, enjoy a family skate or undertake the free horse-drawn sleigh ride on weekends.
Canad Inns Winter Wonderland runs nightly November 30, 2018 to January 5, 2019 (closed Christmas Day).
