Long hours and hard work go into planning the MFBC Awards Gala
MFBC family, friends and members hard at work once again to promote the November 9th Awards Gala taking place at the Gates on Roblin. The MFBC will be honouring the movers and shakers of the Filipino business community next week.
The photo shoot at Level 3 Studios was done with extremely tight timelines and was headed by Tia Polverosa of Provicci Cosmetics. It was her vision to inspire the community by showcasing a few members of the council using a fashion magazine cover as inspiration to enhance its multi-generation members.
“I must admit, I was quite surprised to see the turnout especially with such short notice. I guess I shouldn’t be because that’s just all in a days job for these entrepreneurs and that’s why they are all successful” remarked by MFBC vice president Ginno Bains of Ginno’s Automotive. The shoot took literally minutes but it was quite a feat to assemble everyone together with only hours notice.
The participants all believe in the council’s mission which is to help develop new business owners and provide guest speakers at various events for its members. The council also hopes to attract guests and new members too attend the Awards Gala and celebrate with the nominees of various business categories. It is sure to be very memorable evening with great food, entertainment and upbeat positive people.
