Actor Dennis Trillo was honored with the Highly Commended Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 19th Asian TV Awards (ATA) last Dec. 11 in Singapore.
The actor was acknowledged for his exceptional performance in GMA 7’s “My Husband’s Lover,” the first gay-themed series on Philippine TV. Director Dominic Zapata, also of GMA, was nominated in the Best Direction category for the same project.
ATA is the Asian TV industry’s most significant event that recognizes excellence in programming, production and performance. It was founded in 1996.
