It was a magical night as the Winnipeg Jets pummelled the defending Stanley Cup champions, Pittsburgh Penguins with the 7-1 win. Blake Wheeler was named first star of the game with an impressive hat trick in the first period and Brendan Lemiux scores his first NHL goal.
Connor Hellebuyck continues to shine in net as the Jets visited the Minnesota Wild earlier this week. Hellebuyck now has a 6-0-1 record and is the only NHL goalie to remain undefeated in regulation with at least six starts.
The Winnipeg Jets record as of Nov. 2 is 6-3-2, tied for 2nd with Dallas Stars and Chicago Blackhawks in the Western Division.
