The non-stop rain on Saturday did not dampen the spirits of the organizers and participants of the first Tiannge Ng Bayan (Filipino Community Market) at Maples Multiplex.
Over 45 vendors, partners and festival sponsors fill up the Maples Multiplex with tables and booths offering contests, product giveaways and wide range of flea market type offerings.
The full day affair was hosted by Roldan Sevillano Jr and Alyssa de Guzman with a supporting cast of Festival Queen candidates and board of directors.
This is the first Tiannge Ng Bayan event hosted by the Manitoba Filipino Street Festival and is the second of four summer activities leading up to the 2014 Manitoba Filipino Street Festival on Saturday, August 23 at Garden City Shopping Centre.
