Buckle up Jets fans! The Winnipeg Jets clinched a playoff berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Jets have been on a tear in the last three weeks with several accolades including the playoff berth by beating the Nashville Predators in OT/Shootout.
They swept through their 6-game home stand in March with wins against the Blackhawks (6-2), Stars (4-2), Kings (2-1 OT), Ducks (3-2 OT), Predators (5-4 SO) and Bruins (5-4 SO).
The Jets head into the final two regular season games with the Flames (Thursday) and Blackhawks on Saturday at Bell MTS Centre. The playoff picture is still unfolding and the likely matchup for the first round is looking like a regional rivalry against the Minnesota Wild.
