Mike Buenaventura, Pyramid’s new GM Residential Services
When Mike Buenaventura came knocking on the door of Pyramid Plumbing and Heating, he had no idea in a few months that he would be running its residential division. “I was just looking to sell them some work vans and assist them in their commercial vehicle needs” says the recently appointed Residential Manager.
That meeting turned into the start of a great opportunity for both Pyramid Plumbing and Heating and Mike Buenaventura.
The first 6 months has been a whirlwind and come with some success. With the newly created position, there was no benchmark with expectations. Mike has been able to add a strong focus to marketing and advertising, and managing crews. His past experiences range vastly in industries and include a 7 year stint running his own company in the construction sector. Mike accredits his ability to handle both the sales / marketing and operations tasks to being a business owner himself. He admits some great learning lessons came from that and irreplaceable experiences.
The next 6 months will be a very important time for Mike and Pyramid. It will be his first winter and furnace season at the helm of the residential division.
His two goals are to create brand awareness and 100% complete customer satisfaction. Letting people know that Pyramid has been servicing Winnipeg’s HVAC needs for over 36 years is a must. Being a past business owner in a very competitive market, Mike understands the immense value to the customer of dealing with a long standing business.
