It is the story of Mang Pedro and Aling Dedang who came to Canada to babysit, to clean the house and provide help in the kitchen. It is also the story of Peping and Delia who have been too busy working and expecting their parents to work and as Delia says: “Iba dito sa Canada, lahat dito ay nagtratrabo…king hindi ka kakayod, magugtom ka.” (“Canada is different as compared in the Philippines, here you have to work to survive.”)
The actors include, the husband and wife team, Florencion Antonio and his wife Letty as Mang Pedro and Aling Dedang; Peping is Amante Bayuga while Delia is Gloria Magpali. Amante and Gloria acted before when the Manitoba Addiction Foundation presented a play “The Money Tree” three years ago. The play was commissioned to playwright Rod Escobar Cantiveros. The play which was transferred into DVD for educational tool centers on the seniors addiction to slot machines.
