Young actressTeri Malvar earned another international recognition this time in the Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF) by winning the Silver George best actress award on June 30 for her performance in the crime-drama “Hamog (Haze)”,
Malvar is also the winner of the Screen International Rising Star Asia at the New York Asian Film Festival. She had previously received local recognition for her role in the film at the Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival. She had also beaten veteran actress Nora Aunor’s “The Story of Mabuti,” with her performance in “Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita,” at the CineFilipino Festival 2013.
