When Felix and Evelyn Pao opened their Canton Food Gallery, and in a very charitable gesture, they opened their hearts last Saturday, December 14, to a breakfast fund raising organized by OPLAN Hope led by Aid Champagne, president of FSGW.
Felix and Evelyn Pao handed over to Aida Champagne the $5,000 donations after the fund raising breakfast in the presence of Kimberlee Potter,director, Winnipeg Chapter and some volunteers.
As explained by Ms. Evelyn Pao, the fund raising breakfast generated $2,583 on ticket sales and the Pao’s donated an additional $2,417 to make a total donation of $5,000.
The amount of $15,000 has been the initial amount donated to Hope Worldwide.
