Actress Ruffa Gutierrez got a frightening experience when she came to watch the Pacquiao-Marquez bout live at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, Saturday (Sunday, Manila time).
The actress said she was among the many Filipinos that were taunted and heckled at by Mexicans as they were on the way out of the event venue.
The Mexicans in obvious disapproval of the judges’ decision that awarded the fight to Pacquiao, yelled at the Filipino fans and called them losers.
Fortunately, Ruffa and the other Filipinos made it out of the venue unharmed.
The former Miss World beauty watched the fight with her mother, talent manager Annabelle Rama, and dad, actor, Eddie Gutierrez.
Other local celebrities who were spotted at the MGM Grand Arena were Benjie Paras, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, Hayden Kho and Vicki Belo, and Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz.
