Quezon Province Association of Manitoba, one of the most active associations in Winnipeg, hit the road leading to South Beach Casino where officers and members and guests would try their luck, raising money for the scholarship grants given to some deserving students in Quezon Province.
“I have to thank everyone who helped us raise money for the QPAM scholar and I am happy to report that our scholars are very grateful for the support we have been given to the deserving students who could not afford to enter the university.,” Maggie Chan-Urbano, president of QPAM. “This scholarship program has been going on for many years, and with the total cooperation of our officers and members,we are able to afford financial help, it is great to be a Quezonian.”
QPAM has been existing for many years and the solidarity of the association becomes the stronger bind to continue the service to the Filipino community. “Santacruzan” and the Feast of San Isidro have become the main events for the Quezonians in the month of May.
