There are many ways of bringing Christmas cheers to their friends in their homes and offices.
Thus, the officers and members of Quezon Province Association of Manitoba (QPAM) have bounded together to share the spirit of Christmas through caroling. Since last week of November, QPAM choir has been traveling to many houses and offices to share the happiness of Christmas spirit through songs.
Part of the money raised through caroling will be donated to the typhoon victims. And through this charitable gesture, members of QPAM Choir are more inspired to travel despite of the bitterly cold nights for a mission share the Christmas spirit with their hosts. Their goal is to get more donations to help the less fortunate “kababayans” specially affected by the recent calamities.
“In our desire to help those less fortunate affected by the recent super typhoon Haiyan, we collectively decided to accomplish whatever we can for this project as we bring the “Diwa ng Pasko” (Spirit of Christmas) to every home and office we caroled. We are just amazed at the outcome and the reception we have received. We are proud to be the Quezonians of Canada,” said Maggie-Chan Urbano, QPAM president.
