The Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC), the Philippines’ largest toll operator, announced that it is eyeing road projects nationwide projects in the coming years.
According to MPTC President Ramoncito Fernandez, the company has submitted to the City Government of Cebu a proposal to construct the third bridge that will link Cebu City and Mactan Island.
In Metro Manila, construction is underway for the 14.8-kilometer Skyway Stage 3 project which aims to shorten travel time to Balintawak from Buendia in 20 minutes or less.
Fernandez also said the NLEX Harbor Link will connect NLEX to Circumferential Road 5 (C5), NLEX to MacArthur Highway, MacArthur Highway to the North Harbor via C3, and another proposal to link NLEX and the South Luzon Expressway.
