Omaga sister and brother to grace fashion fundraising event

Chrystalle and Justin Omaga, a sister and brother tandem, will be featured as one of the up and coming models in the gala fashion show and fundraising event, “An Evening With Panache” on October 28, Sunday at Canad Inn, Windsor Park.

The fundraising committee requests your donation for young models to attend the “2012 Faces West International Model and Talent Conference in Western Canada. Attendance at the convention will bring them face-to-face with International agents. Casting Directors and Scouts representing leading agencies from around the world and to provide a unique opportunity for them to showcase their talent.
“We are all very excited about this amazing opportunity for our models and actors, as it has proven to be highly effective for new talent in this industry. Every participant will benefit tremendously from the experience in their ability to gain knowledge of the model and acting industries both nationally and internationally, and also to develop their skills and national and global exposure in order to promote their careers,” writes E. “Oh, I am so excited for this opportunity and hoping this year will give me a chance to travel. This conference will give us a chance to probe our talents and open the door of opportunity,” says Chrystalle, 16, a multi-talented model and actor who is in grade 11 at Garden City Collegiate. Chrystalle is also the lead actor in the Garden City Collegiate’s March 2013 musical presentation “GREASE”.
Chrystalle and Justin Omaga , two of the three children of Edwin and Sandra Omaga, are not only into modelling and theatre but also in sports. Chrystalle is an active member of Provincial Basketball Age 16 group; and a member of the Provincial Soccer Team. Justin Omaga, the youngest, 12, and grade 7 at Holy Ghost, is the Number 1 player in the 10-pin Category Age 12; and the 2nd best player in Canada.
Chrystalle hopes that someday she would be gracing the fashion ramps in the Philippines; and also looking forward to be an actor in the Philippine TV and movies.
Teens are invited to attend, 12 year and up, and must be accompanied by a guardian or parents. The cost of tickets are $20 for teens; $30 to $40 for adults.
