For the first time in Pinoy Big Brother’s history, the newest edition of the reality television show will not be held in the Philippines, but in the neighboring country of Vietnam.
The news was revealed by ABS-CBN’s director Laurenti Dyogi, who said they decided to set up the show out of the country to give PBB’s followers a new viewing experience. He added that Vietnam has many similarities with the Philippines, including its culture and temperature. Five celebrity housemates have already been revealed namely, McCoy de Leon, Nikko Natividad, Yassi Pressman, Jinri Park at Juan Karlos Labajo. This year’s edition has been nicknamed “PBB Lucky 7,” and will start airing on July 11.
