Newly-crowned first Filipino-American Ms Universe, R’ Bonney Gabriel expressed her desire to visit the Philippines soon.
Being a fashion designer, model and a teacher, Gabriel would love to give sewing working to Filipino girls. She said that she had spoken with a friend who is a designer and is in the Philippines.
Gabriel thanked her Filipino fans in Tagalog” Maraming maraming salamat sa lahat ng tulong nyo,” she said.
“The support is everything. I feel it in my heart. I heard it in the room. It was an amazing energy. The Filipino blood is so strong. We are hardworking, we’re fun and we’re determined, and I’m so proud to be half-Filipina,” the 28-year-old added.
