Max’s Restaurant and Alibin Group Inc. formally announced the construction and opening of it’s newest location in Winnipeg earlier this month at media press conference. The official contract signing between the partners Alibin Group Inc and Max Group, represented by Bill Rodgers. Bill Rodgers is the grandson of Max’s Restaurant founder, Maximo “Max” Gimenez.
The new restaurant build will be located a new commercial property at 1225 St. James Street (northeast corner of St. James & Wellington Ave.). Construction is schedule to start soon with a proposed opening date next year – fall 2018.
Hipolito Alibin JR, managing director of Alibin Group Inc shared his fond memories of family and friends growing up and sharing meals at Max’s Restuarant including her sister’s birthday. The Alibin Group was created to invest and operate Max’s Restaurant and bring back memories of great food and hospitality to the Filipino community in Manitoba.
