Manny Pacquiao hit the Big Apple early Monday morning from Manila via San Francisco.
After a nice and easy day in his Loews Regency Hotel suite, Pacquiao hits the road Tuesday, starting off with an early-morning run at Central Park and a whole day of activities to promote his coming fight against Juan Manuel Marquez.
Pacquiao and his entourage had breakfast of steak, rice, vegetables and fruits in his 20th floor suite. Then he towed the gang out to the city on board a chauffer-driven, black SUV.
First stop was the Apple store to check on the latest gadgets. Next was the nearby Louis Vuitton store along Fifth Avenue where Pacquiao came out wearing a pair of stylish, gold-plated LV sunglasses worth $3,000, and an LV Tambour diver watch worth $27,000 (P1.1 million).
Pacquiao also got a pair of dark jeans, a couple of dress shirts, belts, a pair of shoes and carry-on luggage all made by Louis Vuitton.
Even while inside the LV store, where no one is allowed to take pictures, a lot of fans got away with it, clicking away with their cameras, their Backberries and iPhones.
Before he called it a day, Pacquiao reminded everyone he wants to be up at six in the morning so he could jog at Central Park.
