Out & About In Manitoba: Torillos family explores the past at the Canadian Fossil Museum

It’s time to explore our beautiful province of Manitoba. Over the following months, we will be looking for adventurous readers as they highlight their summer travels to interesting and fun spots all across Manitoba. This issue, our adventure takes us to the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre in Morden, Manitoba with the Torillos family. Thank you Jun and Howie Torillos for submitting your family adventure photos.

The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre (CFDC) previously Morden and District Museum currently houses the largest collection of marine vertebrates in Canada. This large fossil collection has led the museum to a continuous need for expansion and improvement, even at the present time.
