Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza and De La Salle University basketball player Jeron Teng were the big winners in this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. Fans voted for Maine to win the Favorite Pinoy Personality Award, beating Enrique Gil, James Reid and Kathryn Bernardo. For his part, Jeron won the Favorite Asian Sports Star by outvoting Pandelela Rinong of Malaysia, Kim Kurniawan of Indonesia and Irfan Fandi of Singapore.
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, also known as the KCAs, is an annual awards show that honors the year’s biggest television, movie, and music acts, as voted by TV viewers and fans. The awards night was held on March 12 at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
