Inside the sprawling Lucky Supermarket at Winnipeg Ave and McPhillips, the staff and the officers of the Manitoba Council of Canadian Filipino Associations Inc. (MaCCFA) and the Filipino Canadian Technical Professional Association of Manitoba (FCTPAM) met and handed down the enlarged cheque amounting to $10,000 as donations of the managers and the company for the Haiyan victims.
