Winnipeg’s very own local Traditional Pop singer Paul Ong will stage a fundraising concert in preparation for his joining the Talents Olympics. The fundraiser is happening on April 30, 2015, at Jimel’s International Cuisine (A-1045 St. James St.). Aside from the headlining Ong, a few more local talents including The Midnight Band and the young Alternative Rockers The 12/21 will grace the event. The whole cast will treat the audience to a night of Jazz, Broadway, Pop, and Rock ballads and stompers. Maui and Ayen Zamora will host the show.
Talent Olympics is a world championship of performing arts. It consists of various categories that include dancing, modelling, acting, and singing. Performers from about 40 countries will be competing for respective categories. Ong among others will represent Canada. Talent Olympics was the same contest that the Philippine Pop singer Jed Madela joined in before he rose to commercial popularity.
Let’s support Ong in this fundraiser that will help him take the next step into becoming a more renowned artist. Tickets are only $10 each, dinner exclusive.
