As pinays, our cheeks tend to be less defined or flat. With the correct technique of enhancing our cheeks, we can give our complexion a pretty pinkish glow or even contour the face to look slimmer. You can definitely create the visual appearance of beautiful cheeks by choosing the right shade for your skin. Ensure that the blush you choose works well with your skin tone and looks as natural as possible.
When it comes to putting blush on, look in the mirror and suck your cheeks in. This way you will be able to see your cheekbones better. You want to sweep the powder blush on lightly right on the cheekbones. You will then place the brush beside your nose where your cheeks are most rounded and move the brush up to your temples to create a “C” shape. This will cause the blush to illuminate your cheeks.
Once you have applied the blush, for extra cheek perfection, you can go over the area with a light dusting of shimmer powder. Remember to not use too much shimmer. Only brush it lightly with a small brush or even the tips of your fingers on the rounded parts of your cheeks to highlight this area. Once you are done, smile in the mirror and make sure that you’re perfectly blushed.
