Winnipeg’s pride and representative to the Galaxy International Pageant, KC Salazar, has finally competed in the pageant’s coronation last August 24 at Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando, Florida.
KC made it to the semi-finals as one of the top 8. Though she did not win the title of Junior Miss Galaxy Internationals 2020, she is already a winner just by representing the country and a pride to the Filipino community being the first Filipino-Canadian representative. “Competing in the International Galaxy Pageants as one of the flag carriers had brought me out of my comfort zones, one of which is to model a gown in front of an international audience. I also met a lot of amazing people from across the globe throughout my journey and we became friends until now, “ shares KC.
KC’s family was with her throughout the whole journey. Her father said, “KC’s experience is one that cannot be forgotten because at her young age, she was able to give pride and prestige to the country as young beauty queen and honour to the Filipino community. This only proves that Filipino beauty is still one of the best in the world and we believe that this will open many opportunities for her.”
