“American Idol” runner-up Jessica Sanchez gave another outstanding performance as she wowed the audience during her guesting stint on the popular US TV show “Live! with Kelly.”
Jessica sang one of her most popular AI songs, “I Will Always Love You.” After her performance, host Kelly Ripa noted that the show’s staff cried obviously carried away by Jessica’s powerful rendition of Whitney Houston’s song.
Kelly added that Jessica is truly an American idol and even asked the question why she didn’t won the competition. She also admitted that Jessica placed first in her heart during the season of ‘American Idol’ competition.
On the way out of the ABC studio, her excited admirers and the paparazzi mobbed the petite 16-year old Fil-Am singer Aside from Filipino and American fans, Jessica’s supporters came as far as Canada just to see her.
Jessica also performed at the National Memorial Day concert at Washington D.C. where she sang the National Anthem. She also sang “The Prayer” and led the performers in the crowd in the closing song “God Bless America”.
The young singer is scheduled to perform in Florida and on NBC’s “Today’s Show” on Thursday.
