Influential promoters want Pacquiao to fight in Middle East

Two influential groups in the Middle East want a Pacquiao superfight on their shores. This was revealed by Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum who said the superfight may happen in early 2016 when the Filipino boxing legend returns to the ring.

The 83-year-old Top Rank chief said Pacquiao may fight British slugger Amir Khan who is a frequent visitor in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Pacquiao is recovering well from the right rotator cuff injury that he sustained during the loss to Floyd Mayweather last May 2.

According to Forbes Magazine, Pacquiao is the world’s second richest athlete behind the undefeated Mayweather.
