The GMA News and Public Affairs honored last year’s 150th birth anniversary of our national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal by releasing a special DVD titled “Rizal: 150 Taon ng Pambansang Bayani.”
The DVD contains the most notable documentaries and specials on the life and works of the national hero including his travels and loves while in Europe, an intriguing secret of the Rizal family in Calamba, the stories behind Rizal’s mischievous smile in a rare photo, and a study of his writings.
Also included in the special DVD are segments from GMA News TV’s “State of the Nation with Jessica Soho,” that deals with the continuing influence of Rizal on past and present generations.
The special DVD can be purchased in all Odyssey, SM Music and Video, Astrovision and Astroplus branches.
