Filipino Anglers Association of Manitoba annual Red River Shoreline Cleanup. We had 25 member volunteers come out for a recent evening of picking up litter on the east and west shorelines at Lockport. 15 large bags of trash were collected as well as several large items that ended up on the shoreline. We ask all anglers to please not litter. Take your trash home with you when you go fishing or throw them out in a proper garbage receptacle. We all have to share the waterways and seeing lots of garbage at our favourite places to fish makes it less enjoyable for all. Let’s all work together to respect the resources we are fortunate to have easy access to here in Manitoba.
