Fely Paredes, one of the candidates for Mrs. Philippines Manitoba 2014 was the Queen Valentine together with Gerry Laudato as King Valentine in the 2014 FILCASA Valentine celebration held recently at FILCASA Hall.
Escorted by their respective loved ones, Fely Paredes her son, Patrick Paredes; and Gerry Laudato, his wife Merlyn, entered the hall, a start of the ceremony and became the centre of the heart celebrations.
The crowning of Queen Valentine Fely Paredes was performed by Cita Borja, assisted by Roger Tan; Ella Yambao, FILCASA president, with Aries Reyes pinned the sash; a bouquet of flowers was presented by Dory Custodio and Tony Daet; Zeny Calimlim, another candidate for Mrs. Philippines Manitoba 2014,escorted by Cesar Fronda, presented the trophy.
Belen Leyda and Tony Daet pinned the sash for King Valentin Gerry Laudato; Tess Briones pinned the boutonniere while Nelly Moranion and Ted Alfonso presented the trophy.
February birthday celebrants were presented and greeted with a birhtday song, these include Tony Daet, Zeny Calimlim, Cesar Fronda, Jay Patriarca and Dolores Ramirez.
Food was served and followed by dancing, especially line dancing.
