Filipino-American actress Leslie-Anne Huff essays the role of Rayna, a vampire hunter in the seventh season of The Vampire Diaries (TVD). The American TV series stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder. In the US, the series is broadcasted by The CW Television Network. In the Philippines, TVD airs every Friday night on ETC channel.
Huff was born to an American father and a Filipina mother. She was raised in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California, She began her acting career in 2006 with a role in “CSI:NY” and made guest appearances in other TV series. She is best known for her role as Penelope on the Disney Channel sitcom “Sonny with a Chance” alongside Demi Lovato. Huff shows her pride in her Filipino heritage by being involved with the activities of the local Filipino community.
