Discover your inner voyageur

Hé Ho! Bon festival! Winnipeg’s winter festival is just around the corner and with all the snow and cold weather, preparations for the 10-day celebration are well under way! Festival du Voyageur is all about embracing winter and families will be treated to a huge winter playground including a snow maze, slides, sleigh rides and voyageur adventures. There’s always something to do a Voyageur Park for everyone including learning about Manitoba’s history at Fort Gibraltar.
Once again Festival du Voyageur will be host to artists from the world over who will sculpt impressive snow sculptures in the context of the 2013 International Snow Sculpting Symposium, presented by Air Canada. This year 10 teams with participants from 10 different countries, some from as far as Bulgaria, Argentina end Estonia, will share with us their creations and help give a magical feel to Voyageur Park.
A 10-day pass for Festival du Voyageur is only $25 for adults, $15 for youths, and $10 for children. For more Information, visit the Festival du Voyageur website at heho.ca in French, or in English at festivalvoyageur.mb.ca/festival-du-voyageur.
