Actress Dawn Zulueta has directly addressed the controversy about replacing Maricel Soriano during the recent press conference for “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin.”
Dawn said she liked the script of the teleserye although she admitted she did not accept it right away because she still had to talk to key people especially her husband who is running for another term as congressman in Davao del Norte.
The actress added that she has not had the chance to talk to Maricel about her decision since everything happened so fast. On the day she met the media, she also did pictorial and a video shoot for the teleserye in the morning.
Dawn said she hopes to do justice to the role because she loves Maricel as a dear colleague, and considering that the role was originally for her.
